Activism with pride: advocating for inclusion, women's rights and body autonomy for all.

These photography projects and contributions are rooted in the causes I care about.
Activism takes the shape of feminist photography projects focused on body autonomy, attending and photographing protests for women's rights in London and the UK, supporting LGBTQ+ organisations and Pride events.
Some examples are Future of Fashion (an inclusivity-focused London fashion week show), trans, women and LGBTQ+ protests, Ely Pride, a body positive topless brunch, and supporting BeenThere (a charity that supports people with eating disorders).
My guerrilla nude group shoots are a standalone act of artistic rebellion.
I work towards wider inclusion and representation for all, and the freedom of being ourselves fully.
GUERRILLA NUDE GROUP SHOOTS
V formation - IWD 2025

Why do some migrating birds fly in a V formation? This project is about body autonomy. In a society that continues to impose laws and restrictions on women’s bodies, we refuse to be silenced. Our bodies belong to us. We have the right to make decisions about them, to care for them, and to exist freely without fear or control. Every woman deserves: ✔ Access to safe abortion ✔ Knowledgeable healthcare ✔ The right to give and withdraw consent ✔ A safe and autonomous existence It’s 2025, yet it feels like we’re moving backwards. The more women speak up, the tighter the patriarchy’s grip becomes. That’s proof we’re on the right path: they’re afraid. They know we won’t stop until equality is real, until violence against women ends, and until the policing of our bodies is eliminated. Before heading to our project location, I asked each participant to reflect on why they were taking part, what they were standing up for, and why this act of rebellion mattered to them. I wanted each of them to feel empowered in their choice, whatever their personal reason may be. I will post their testimonies in a few days. So, why do some migrating birds fly in a V formation? For safety and to save energy. The birds at the back benefit from the lift created by those in front, allowing them to conserve strength. And every now and then, they switch places: each doing their part. The people in this image are the birds at the front, leading the way, and putting in the work so others can gather strength until they’re ready to step in. And when they are, we’ll be here to welcome them. Bring on more acts of rebellion.
IWD 2024

In 2024, I answered a callout by artist Lauren Porren. She was inviting photographers worldwide to lead a group nude shoot in our city as part of a wider activist project. With less than 10 days to plan it, I decided to do it. On the 9th of March 2024, at 6:30 AM, these women stripped all of their clothes off and stood in front of my lens in the middle of London. Why? Because it was important. Because they cared. Because they shared a life experience, and if they didn’t, they still wanted to take a stand. Every woman with a cross on their body is a sexual assault survivor. That’s 9 out of 13 random women who answered my call and joined me in this project. When they signed up, they thought this was going to be a simple photo to make art, but when I disclosed the true meaning behind this shoot, they decided to go ahead with it, and be part of this. 9 out of 13 is 69%. And I had a cross on my back too. How is this, in any imaginable way, ok? It’s HUGE. We are here to make a change. Women and non-binary folks had had enough. Hands off our bodies. No matter the age. What we are wearing. What we are doing. How conscious we are. 69%.
